At uisa, this activity is linked to the production of ethanol, a biofuel that reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by up to 90% compared to gasoline.

With the decarbonization market on the rise and through regulatory frameworks, uisa received certification to trade carbon credits in April 2020, commencing sales in the 2020/21 harvest.
