Safety for everyone and by everyone
We are committed to promoting a safety culture based on safe behavior and attitude. At uisa, safety is a non-negotiable value. To achieve this, we have created a positive agenda with employees, suppliers, and partners, in which we conduct training sessions, events, and programs to align guidelines and assess indicators related to our safety performance.
Among the actions we carry out are the Internal Week for the Prevention of Workplace and Rural Work Accidents (SIPAT/SIPATR); Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA/CIPATR); Daily Safety Dialogue (DDS); Evacuation Drills; Safe Off-Season; and other specific campaigns such as Green April, Yellow May, and fire prevention initiatives.

Canguru Project
The uisa Canguru Project represents maternal energy, warmth, care, and protection. We conduct visits to employees who have recently become parents to deliver a personalized kit as a way to support the arrival of the baby, ensuring care and well-being.

Leaders School
The Leaders School trains our employees in leadership positions with technical and behavioral skills related to their activities.

Apprenticeship Program
We value the local workforce and seek to integrate new talent into the job market through the Apprenticeship Program, conducted in partnership with Senai Mato Grosso. This program strengthens local employability among young people aged 17 to 22.

Trainee Program
The uisa Trainee Program aims to accelerate the careers of professionals who have graduated within the last two years and possess a dynamic, strategic business vision and an innovative spirit. Throughout the program, participants are engaged in a robust development path and other initiatives alongside the company top leadership.

+Possibilities Program
uisa is a partner in the +Possibilities Program, an initiative from Senai Mato Grosso, Bioind MT, and affiliated bioenergy industries. In 2024, we welcomed over 100 People with Disabilities who contribute to our administrative, logistical, and industrial operations, adding more value to our activities.
