renewable sources
Since 1993, we have been generating electric energy from sugarcane bagasse for our own consumption and selling the surplus to energy distributors.
At uisa, renewable energy is produced based on robust quality standards, verified through certifications such as I-REC, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001.
As holders of the International REC Standard (I-REC) seal, which certifies our production of renewable energy, we trade REC certificates on the platform of the Electric Energy Commercialization Chamber – CCEE.
